Preparation

  • Anti-puffiness with chamomile tea-soaked cleansing pads - Preparation step 1Prepare the make-up remover disks and a bag where they will be placed/arranged for freezing.
  • Anti-puffiness with chamomile tea-soaked cleansing pads - Preparation step 2Prepare the chamomile tea concentrate: put the chamomile flowers in a container (glass/cup), then pour hot water and steep (covered) for 10 minutes.
  • After brewing the tea, place the disks in a glass and then pour the strained tea over them.
  • When the liquid has cooled sufficiently, place a cotton disk in each, squeeze gently to remove excess water and place in the bag.
  • Once the disks have been placed in the bag, place the whole bag in the freezer and freeze for at least 20 minutes.
  • Anti-puffiness with chamomile tea-soaked cleansing pads - Preparation step 6After freezing, use 2 disheets about 1-3 times a day, applying for 5-10 minutes on dark circles.

Observations

When applying the disks it is best to have a clean complexion, no face creams, makeup applied...

In the evening, if you want to apply a cream around the eyes, apply it after the treatment with the cleansing pads soaked in tea and cooled.

Chamomile has sedative and anti-inflammatory properties, so is very effective for puffy eyelids and bags under the eyes.

Administration

Remove two frozen disks each, leave to soften for 3-5 minutes and then apply to dark circles for 5-10 minutes, until no longer cold.

The procedure can be repeated up to 3 times a day: in the morning, at midday and in the evening before bedtime.

The disk can also be applied to the whole closed eye, but be careful not to make it too cold and not to soak it in tea.

The procedure can be done every day for up to a week, then one week is reduced to 1 day yes and 1 day no, the next week to 2 days and finally the last week to 3 days.

The treatment can be repeated every few months or done occasionally.

For greater effectiveness, different treatments of the same type can be alternated (still with frozen disks but another liquid base: chamomile tea, peppermint tea, green tea, rose petal tea, the mixture of these teas, in the evening, milk is also a good moisturizer).
