Observations

→ When mixed with honey, almonds become more nutritious, nutrients and macronutrients are potented, thus providing the body with a high energy intake.

→ The taste is also particularly good, the almonds absorb honey from the sweetness of the bees, and the honey acquires an intense almond aroma.

→ Practically through this maceration it is as if we hydrate the almonds in honey.

⚠ That thin, brown shell that covers the almonds (almond peel) is rich in flavonoids, so don't clean the almonds from that thin layer.
20 flavonoids with a strong antioxidant effect have been identified in the almond shell (that thin, brown coating). Antioxidants fight free radicals, help protect against oxidative stress, which can damage molecules in cells and can contribute to inflammation, aging and diseases such as cancer.

→ Almonds are an important source of fiber, good quality protein, omega fatty acids, folic acid, as well as a number of vitamins and minerals essential for the optimal functioning of the body.

→ Bee honey with almonds strengthens the immune system, preventing the appearance of asthenia and anemia.
