Aronia fruit bunches are placed on flat surfaces on kitchen towels and left to drain for ~1 hour to remove excess water.
After the aronia have dried, we separate the aronia berries from the bunches.
Next is the squeezing of the aronia berries with the help of a juicer, preferably with a screw shaft that works at low speeds (40-60 rpm) to avoid heating during squeezing. If you like, you can also add a lemon to the juicer.
We pour the obtained juice into ice cubes bags, which we will freeze in the freezer. In about 2 hours they will be frozen.
The chokeberry pulp, obtained after squeezing, can be dried and used to make teas, especially in the cold season. It can also be dried and then ground into powder. In this way, up to 3 teaspoons of powder are consumed per day before meals.
