Ingredients

Estimated cost: 0.5 €

Materials

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Cosmetic brush or spoon
  • A plate for soaking compresses

Preparation

  • πŸ₯š Take the egg white from a raw egg and beat it with a few drops of glycerin until frothy/creamy.
  • 🍯Beaten egg whites with glycerine, add honey and mix well until smooth.
  • Dip 2 make-up remover pads in this mixture, remove excess and apply to the eyelids for 10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
  • The remaining mixture can be refrigerated tightly closed in a container, recommended maximum 24 hours.
  • Personally I prefer to soak several makeup remover disks in the leftover mixture and keep everything cold (refrigerator 24-48 hours, freezer 3 months). Then when I need to, I take out 2 disks each already soaked in the mixture. The disks can also be applied cold straight from the fridge.

Observations

Honey and egg compresses, applied around the eyes, significantly reduce dark circles under the eyes.
Egg white has a high water content in which proteins are colloidally dispersed. The main protein is ovalbumin, a protein with a high biological value containing a lot of lysine, methionine and tryptophan.
It is the reference protein, whose biological value, by definition, equals 100%.

Administration

πŸ”Ή Apply to the eyelids or just the dark circles 1-3 times a day for 10-15 minutes.
πŸ”Ή Disheets can also be applied cold straight from the fridge.
πŸ”Ή After application rinse the area thoroughly with lukewarm water.

πŸ”Ή Frequency: apply the compresses daily in the evening for 10-15 minutes.
πŸ”Ή Method of application: put the compresses on the eye area and relax.
πŸ”Ή Treatment duration: for visible results, use the remedy for 7-10 consecutive days.
