Tonic with Ginger, Honey, Lemon, Green Tea, Turmeric, Cinnamon and Mint
A miraculous remedy for our health, ideal for fatigue, intense exertion, low immunity, rheumatic pain, detoxification cures, or when you want to speed up your metabolism.
Servings: 50 servings
1 liter of concentrated juice = about 50 servings of concentrated syrup (one serving being considered a tablespoon for adults ~ 20ml)
Ingredients
Materials
- - root juicer (with worm shaft)
- - container
- - spoon
Preparation
Wash the ginger well and then peel it.
Wash and peel the lemons.
The ginger will be cut into smaller pieces, about 1 cm, to be easily passed through the root juicer and not to block it.
Give the rooted juicer the ginger cleaned and cut into pieces of about 1 cm.
After we finish squeezing the ginger juice, put the resulting pulp in a container to create an additional product . Add 2 tablespoons of honey and mix. Thus we formed a by-product " ginger pulp with honey ", which must be left to macerate for at least 12 hours and kept cold. You can consume a teaspoon either as such or in a glass of water, tea or even coffee (free imagination).
The obtained ginger juice is placed in a larger container (non-metallic recommended).
Se taie lămâile în 4 și apoi se dau și acestea prin storcător. Sucul rezultat se toarnă peste sucul de ghimbir și se amestecă.
Add the honey to the composition and mix vigorously until smooth.
In the final phase, add: dry green tea (as it is), turmeric (turmeric), cinnamon and mint.
We can use fresh mint leaves or dried mint for teas. You can also use peppermint essential oil for internal use instead of mint leaves (~ 5 drops).
Stir the composition vigorously.
The mixture is placed in a bottle, which will be sealed, and left to macerate for 48 hours in a cool, dark place (cellar, refrigerator).
After 48 hours of maceration, the mixture is strained. Basically throw away the leaves from the green tea, possibly the mint leaves.
Store in airtight glass containers in a refrigerator.
So I finished the main product " ginger concentrate with honey, lemon, green tea, turmeric, cinnamon and mint ".
Administration
For athletes as a tonic (isotonic drink) during training: put 2 tablespoons of concentrate in a liter of water and consume during training. It is ideal for marathon runners.
Ginger pulp macerate with honey : (~ 12-48 hours of maceration) forms a product as valuable as the first. Use a teaspoon in various hot or cold drinks, such as teas, coffee, fresh, ..., can also be used for cooking.
Observations
- Concentrated ginger juice with honey, lemon, green tea, turmeric, cinnamon and mint
- Ginger pulp macerate with honey
‼ Dried mint leaves (mint tea) can be replaced with peppermint essential oil (for internal use).
‼ After maceration we will notice how the green tea leaves (possibly mint) have increased in volume. I used a skewer stick to make it easier to strain the mixture.
Storage and Validity:
Store in tightly closed glass containers in the refrigerator!
→ Concentrated juice: ~ 6 months
→ Maceration of the pulp: ~ 3 months

➡️ It’s a natural energy booster packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes that strengthen immunity, support detoxification, and fight fatigue. The mix combines forest fruits with the tonic effect of ginger and the freshness of lime.
What are the main benefits of sea buckthorn and aronia?
➡️ Sea buckthorn provides natural vitamin C, beta-carotene, and omega fatty acids, while aronia berries contain strong polyphenols and anthocyanins that protect cells and slow aging.
Why is ginger added to this energizing blend?
➡️ Ginger activates metabolism, improves digestion, stimulates blood circulation, and creates a mild warming effect that enhances the overall vitality of the drink.
What role does lime juice play in the recipe?
➡️ Lime balances the taste with a fresh, tangy note, adds more vitamin C, and helps maintain an alkaline internal environment.
What kind of honey should I use?
➡️ Use raw honey—preferably polyfloral or acacia—because it retains natural enzymes and antibacterial properties that help preserve the juice without additives.
How is this energizing juice prepared?
➡️ Blend fresh or frozen sea buckthorn and aronia, add lime juice and grated ginger, then mix with honey until smooth. Let it rest for 24 hours in the fridge, then strain for a clear, aromatic juice.
How long can it be stored?
➡️ Keep it in a sealed glass bottle in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. For longer storage, freeze in small portions.
How should it be consumed?
➡️ Take 1–2 tablespoons of concentrate diluted in a glass of water, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach or before physical activity, to boost energy and focus.
Is it suitable for children?
➡️ Yes, in smaller doses (1 teaspoon per day) diluted in water or warm tea, as long as there are no allergies to honey or berries.
Can it be used in detox cures?
➡️ Definitely. Sea buckthorn and aronia cleanse the blood and support liver function, while ginger speeds up toxin elimination — perfect for seasonal detox programs.
